Topaz, the country’s largest distributor of home heating oil, has confirmed that it has acquired, Leinster Petroleum, a leading home heating supplier which serves counties Louth, Meath and Westmeath.
Welcoming the acquisition, Topaz Director Liam Mulcahy said the change of ownership would happen seamlessly as Leinster Petroleum is already a Topaz Branded Distributor and it was very much a case of business as usual.
‘We are really looking forward to working with the staff in growing and improving this business. Leinster Petroleum is a well respected local business which has been supplying customers under the stewardship of Nicholas Nolan in counties Meath, Louth and Westmeath for over 50 years.
As an Irish owned and managed company Topaz aims to continue the tradition of excellent service to the company’s loyal customers and to expanding the customer base further’ Mulcahy said.
Leinster Petroleum, which has depots in Navan, Drogheda and Mullingar employs 18 people.
