Staff at the Topaz station in Brennanstown exceeded themselves last week when they undertook two full days of fundraising to collect money for Temple Street Children’s Hospital.
Under direction of Lynn Hegarty (Manager) and Dan Hegarty (MIT), staff members carried collection boxes, painted faces of both young and old, and encouraged customers to get tickets for a fabulous raffle prize. Those who entered the raffle had to guess the number of balloons bundled into a sixties Beetle, and the lucky winner would be rewarded with tickets to see Ireland v England in the Aviva Stadium on March 19th.
Thanks to their efforts, the team raised a fantastic €2,116, which will go towards purchasing a hi-tech Giraffe Omnibed Incubator for sick infants.
